Travel Has Never Been Just About the Destination.

For me, the places matter. But the people beside you, and the time you get to share there, are what stay with you.

Some of my earliest memories are filled with salt air, sandy feet, and the freedom that comes from being completely present in the moment.

Growing up, my parents and sister and I spent countless days along the East Coast, from Myrtle Beach and Virginia Beach to the shores of Florida. My parents embraced a wonderfully carefree lifestyle in those years, loading up tents and campers, gathering with friends at bluegrass festivals, and setting up camp right on the beach. There was always music, laughter, and the feeling that life moved a little slower near the ocean.

At sixteen, my first flight took me to Ocho Rios, Jamaica. I'll never forget the thrill I felt looking out the window as we descended onto the island. The beaches were stunning, but what truly stayed with me was experiencing a different culture and appreciating how much of the world there is to explore. To this day, I still opt for the window seat any chance I get.

Later, my husband Dave and I raised two boys and two girls, and travel became one way our family built traditions. Spring breaks on Manasota Key grew from one family vacation into annual gatherings with friends, sometimes twenty or more people. Our children learned to swim there. We hunted for shells and shark teeth, spent long days on the water, and watched simple trips become part of our family story.

Travel has shaped every chapter of my life.

For more than 30 years, I worked as a registered nurse. I later moved into healthcare technology consulting and training, traveling throughout the United States while helping hospitals improve patient care.

Those years taught me to listen closely, communicate clearly, and keep many moving pieces organized. They also gave me a reason to keep exploring: the local restaurant after a long day, the character of a new city, the conversations that made each place feel different.

A career built around care, connection, and staying calm when details matter.

On a Mediterranean cruise with my mother, sister, and a wonderful group of women, I found myself thinking less about how many places were left to see and more about how precious it was to be there together.

That journey helped bring my next chapter into focus. Travel had already connected my childhood, my family life, my work, and many of my closest friendships. Becoming a travel advisor gave me a way to help other people make room for those experiences while the people they want to share them with are still able to say yes.

Then one trip made the value of time impossible to ignore.

The greatest luxury is uninterrupted time with the people you love.

That belief shapes the way I plan. I want to understand who is traveling, what you want the trip to give you, and what would make it feel truly worth your time.

Sometimes that means a table worth lingering over. Sometimes it is the right space for each member of the family, a day outside that balances a slower one, or a cruise itinerary that makes moving between places feel easy. Whatever journey takes shape, my purpose is to help you spend less time planning the details and more time enjoying being there with the ones you love.
